Another successful mission with a great group of campers this past Saturday morning. We worked hard and I think everyone had a great time burning over 500 cals that hour. Whew! I really enjoyed seeing all the effort (and laughs) during my 12 Days of Christmas Workout Game – my recruits did aweseome with everything from Lords a Leaping lifts to Bosu squat relays with 5 rings!

“At age 61, and even with knee issues Jackie has helped me to overcome, I have lost 41 pounds so far. (I’m thinking after this boot camp it’s more like 45 pounds now!) I should also mention I had gained 30 lbs. after a major health issue several years ago, and that while healed, this still requires me to be vigilant about what I eat and when I exercise to stay healthy. Jackie helps me with this, too, with her weekly plans. I also attend a weekly yoga class at her studio, which I believe helps my progress mentally, spiritually and physically.
I’m really proud of myself, and my husband is too. At Thanksgiving, he said he was grateful that I wanted to live another 30 years and was proud of the way I was taking care of myself in order to do that.
This holiday, instead of thinking, ‘Boo-hoo, I have nothing to wear and dreading it, I’m thinking, what do I get to wear – whoo-hoo!’ I can’t believe all the compliments I’m getting from people who’ve seen me over the holidays and tell me I am inspiring them to get fit and take better care of themselves. With Jackie’s continued knowledge, motivation and support, I’m jingling instead of jiggling into 2016 and I’m so glad I did this camp as I work towards reaching my fitness goal. Don’t let age, injury or illness stand in your way. Love yourself and know you can do it with the right help.~ Nancy
